Pets at the dinner table

There are 3 cats and a dog. Oh, and a horse.

Only one of the cats typically bothers us during meals, whenever he smells cheese.

But Chloe, the horse, LOVES to come and beg at the table...

Anyway, with the warm weather we have been eating outside this past week, which has lured Chloe to come beg, mostly for apple pie! It doesn't help that Marijke ALWAYS gives in!

Usually Robert is at the head of the table, nearest the grass. Chloe likes to walk in behind him and nudge him in the back of the head while he eats, trying to get Robert to share or maybe trying to get past him to get what's on his plate.

It's quite something to have a horse standing over you when you are seated at the dinner table, as DJ soon found out (sitting so close to Robert)!

One night, Chloe was really bothering Robert to the point that Robert actually scolded her and gave her a little swat on the nose. She backed up a bit and hung her head just a little, but keeping eye contact, as if to say she was disappointed, but also maybe a little pissed off.

She stood there a moment, then turned around, ass facing the table.
We all laughed, assuming Chloe was doing what anyone would do when annoyed with you - turn their back on you. Robert joked.. "Don't fart!" and laughed.

We all watched. Nothing. Then her tail went up... nothing. Then, clearly, with all the effort Chloe could muster, she let out a short but aggressive FART - aimed right at Robert!

Most hilarious thing ever!!
