Frosty grass at Mt. Cook




The night before this frost was definitely the coldest we have experienced here... somewhere around 20F



Sometimes I feel like my camera is a microscope!


This one looks like a weapon or something... Maybe a Gemstone even??

    These are incredible! I didn't even know about hoar frost until a few years ago... since then I've seen it only twice. What beautiful pictures!
