A Tom Tit. This was Kathy's greatest goal, to finally capture the elusive tom tit in its natural environment. This small no-necked bird was not easy to find or capture on film, but it was successfully done!

Toad stool?
Love the Tom Tit! and the mushroom! What exactly is the difference between a toadstool and a mushroom?

ReplyDelete1.Lentinula aciculospora, not known if edible
2. Amanita muscaria, DEADLY!

ReplyDeleteLooks like Amanita muscaria (but I am NOT expert). I think if you eat Amanita muscaria you trip out, but usually have a very bad trip and then die. It is beautiful though!

ReplyDeleteIt's amanita... poisonous for sure. Marcelo said they're what people eat for hallucinogenic mushrooms, but I wouldn't trust that. Eek!
