The glacier coming down the valley
Ice cave where the glacial melt comes out from. Apparently there can be ice dams in this river that will occasionally let go and cause a surging tsunami to come out of the cave... so natually they don't let anyone near it, we were not happy with this.
... So jumped the rope and took these pictures :)

Ice stairway used by the glacier tour company... how come it is safe for them but not for us?? I guess only money can tell...

so awesome!!!! NZ has it all!!!! I'm dying here, wishing I was there. Sorry if you are tired of hearing this. Is an ice serac the same as a crevasse?
